Receptions and Exchanges is a set of sound materials of various durations created through the exchange of ideas with visual artist Adria Pecora and choreographer Kathleya Afanador. Exchanges- and Exchanges+ are sound files created to accompany the performances by Armadillo Dance Project made for The Icehouse and The Fifth Annual Phoenix Experimental Arts Festival. The Receptions are sound files created to provide background sound for the opening reception of the exhibit at The Icehouse of the sets made by Pecora for Exchanges. A further series is planned as possible soundtracks for videos made by Pecora of the set in motion.
